Mark your calendars for the last POWER Grant event, the Waste Free Multimedia Art Fair on Sunday, August 29, 2010.  Start thinking big about what you want to create.  Several workshops will be held this summer to help instruct about art creation using recycled materials.

 

Plant Sale Picture 3The composting workshop, materials, and Ramsey County Master Gardeners are provided by St. Clement's One Thing in '10 POWER Grant project. (Partners on Waste Education and Reduction) Grant Project One thing in '10. The grant is part of a program from the Solid Waste Management Coordinating Board (SWMCB) to promote household and toxic waste reduction education. Bible Conversations Group meets each Sunday in the Chapel from 9:15-10:15 am. This group reads aloud the lectionary readings for the day and joins together for dicussion, study and discernment. Facilitated by Bob Hanson and members of the group. Newcomers are always welcome!
