Feed My Starving Children: This local non-profit Christian organization is committed to feeding God’s children hungry in mind and spirit. The approach is simple: children and adults hand-pack meals specially formulated for malnourished children that is shipped to nearly 70 countries around the world. Different groups from the church go throughout the year and a parish-wide event with over 100 parishioners happens in January. Hospitality Hour Coffee: We are also currently raising social justice issues surrounding poverty, hunger and the environment through our efforts in using only organic fairly traded coffee during our hospitality hour after the 10:30 Sunday service. By using this type of fair-trade coffee, we help put more money in the hands of the indigent growers, as well as promote a purely organic product that uses only sustainable agricultural methods and is great tasting.
Plant With Purpose: By resolving to help meet the Millennium Development developed by the United Nations and adopted by the national Episcopal Church in 2006, St. Clement’s has partnered with Plant with Purpose to support a project in the Fonds-Verrettes area of southeastern Haiti. For the past 4 years, we have raised over $30,000 to send to Haiti and have sent 9 Missioners to get to know the people and their work. Read about our project here.

“Then the king will say to those at his right hand, ‘Come, you that are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me” Mathew 24:34-35
